Compliance Officer Business Management & Change - APG

This will be your role:

In this position you support the Chief Compliance Officer and the team manager Business development/management & change with various activities.

Key elements are:

• Supporting the organization in different Compliance Framework related activities like setting up compliance policies and minimum standards, supporting the development of control framework for risk mitigating purposes, supporting the SIRA, etc.;
• Participating in different projects and therein providing expert compliance knowledge and translation thereof in pragmatic solutions;
• Work jointly with the other Compliance Officers in e.g. risk assessments, process designs, etc.
• Act as the Compliance Officer for the Compliance team itself;
• Develop policies and process documentation.

This is what you bring:

• You have 5 - 7 years experience in compliance risk management in the financial services industry;
• You have an academic degree; recognized compliance risk management accreditation desirable; You have affinity with financial instruments and investments, data, IT and strong attraction to digitalization and dashboards.
• You work independently, setting priorities in a demanding work environment, remain goal focused and delivering the highest standards to continuous improve in your profession;
• You are able to develop project plans and define pragmatic solutions ensuring compliance to regulations and legislation;
• You take initiative and have experience in risk based analysis and reporting; 
• You are analytically strong and can translate theory into practice, have an independent and critical view, but are also able to put daily practice into perspective, in order to create support;
• You have proven to be a strong challenging partner. Your indebt knowledge provides you with arguments with which you can convince – always looking at best option for the participants;
• You stimulate transparent cooperation;
• You are curious and flexible, looking for improvement and innovation in a commercial and result-orientated environment. Organizational sensitivity, pro-activity can-do mentality and persuasiveness, enables you to manage and deliver on expectations;
• Your communication skills gives you the ability to connect and interact with your colleagues within the Compliance department as well as with colleagues of other departments in a constructive way and you are able to translate Compliance objectives into executable improvements.
• Highly developed communication skills in English and good command of the Dutch language.
