You & your role
Strengthen regulatory control within the Innovation & IT domain by coordinating supervisory interactions and translating complex regulatory developments into clear, actionable outcomes. As a Regulatory and Supervisory Affairs Officer, you connect stakeholders, ensure consistency in regulatory responses, and support strong, supervisor‑proof narratives in a fast‑moving environment.
Examples from practice
- Coordinating supervisory On-site Inspections (OSI) and Deep Dives
- Preparing CITO’s contribution to supervisory assessments and questionnaires (e.g. ITRQ, SREP, EC and EBA questionnaires)
- Monitoring regulatory implementation progress of regulations impacting our CITO domain and report on this via our Quarterly Risk Report
- Maintaining and developing RegHub content to support regulatory processes and onboarding of stakeholders

Top 3 responsibilities
- Coordinate supervisory engagements: Manage the full lifecycle of supervisory meetings, examinations, investigations, and follow‑up actions across CITO
- Oversee Regulatory Change and Adherence across the CITO domain, monitoring evolving requirements and guiding stakeholders to implement them with consistency and quality.
- Prepare senior management reporting on the state of regulatory and supervisory activities, and advise MT CITO, Managing Board and Supervisory Board.
Within Rabobank's CITO (Chief Innovation & Technology Office), there’s a community with over 150 first-line risk & control colleagues. You'll join the Control Office, a team of ca. 35 professionals dedicated to risk and control management. We act as a central hub, connecting various IT divisions and ensuring the alignment of IT activities with overarching risk and compliance policies. Our work spans identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across all IT operations. The Control Office is the crucial link between IT, the business, and external stakeholders, including supervisors like the ECB. This involves not only monitoring and reporting but also proactive risk management and guiding the organization through regulatory compliance. You & your talent
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in regulatory and/or supervisory coordination or IT Risk Management
- Strong consultancy and stakeholder management skills, able to bring clarity to complex topics
- Understanding of IT‑relevant regulations such as DORA, BCBS 239, AI Act, EBA guidelines on outsourcing and knowledge of upcoming regulations and proposals such as the Digital Omnibus
- Ability to develop structured, consistent narratives for senior stakeholders
- Experience working in international financial institutions, preferably in an IT or technology‑driven environment, or at a consultancy
- A collaborative mindset and ability to operate in a high‑paced, regulated context
This is what we offer you
- Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 4,931 and EUR 7,043 (scale 09) for a 36-hour work week.
- Extras: a thirteenth month, 8% holiday allowance, and a 10% Employee Benefit Budget.
