You & your role

As a Risk Control Partner COO W&R, you guide Tribes and Service Centers in integrating risk management into daily operations. You advise stakeholders, support risk-based decision-making, and help ensure compliance with regulations. By fostering ownership and continuous improvement, you strengthen Rabobank’s risk culture while developing your own expertise in a collaborative, dynamic environment.

• Implement and monitor risk and control activities based on internal and external regulations.
• Execute the annual control cycle, including validation and follow-up of proposed actions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders such as control and process owners to challenge and improve risk practices.

The 7 people in the First Line In Control team at COO W&R support the adoption and implementation of the Risk Control Framework across domains, contributing to Rabobank’s goals and personal development. You & your talent

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (e.g. Finance, business, economics, compliance & risk management)
• An understanding of Risk Management within the financial services industry and related regulatory standards (Basel II and APRA Prudential Standards);
• An understanding of banking, finance operations and Markets and Treasury;
• A knowledge of causes, influences and drivers of operational risk;
• Experience in managing risk, evaluating risk and reviewing risk;
• Clear written and verbal communication skills;
• Experience managing stakeholders and have experience dealing with senior management;
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Analytically strong and focus on improvements with a focus on delivering quality
• Result-oriented who likes to work in a team
